For 150 years - innovative, competent, global
It is possible to follow the roots of Peters Werft back as far as the year 1871. It was in this year, that Jürgen Peters founded the shipyard on the Stör estuary of the River Elbe. Through his far-sighted, entrepreneurial plans he was able to assert himself against his competitors and took over the remaining three Wewelsfleth rival companies.
Up to the present day, the shipyard has dealt with numerous new building, repair and conversion contracts of the most varied kind. In the past ten years on this site, container-, multi-purpose vessels, passenger ships and mega-yachts have been built. The first mega-yacht completely built by Peters Werft was launched in 2004, more mega-yachts followed.
The growing demands in shipbuilding are continually being met by Peters Werft with innovative technology and construction together with customised solutions. With this innovative capacity and flexibility, we are well equipped for the future.
